ah! spring

Ah! spring 

beyond bird-songs n' blossoms, 

on barefoot 

feeling the earth, 

this subtle nudge in the air

Deep, dark silence

shimmer of the distant stars ~

the night wind 

carrying a song, 

a prayer...

into the deep, dark silence

as this now

searching for a moment 

through faded memories

when life showed its worth ~

many, many, yet not a thing 

as this now

Blue blue blues

a burst of yellow- 

trumpets in the spring breeze, 

the sky too

singing away its 

blue blue blues

spring rain

spring rain shining

through the sun

evoking memories,

the whitened leaves of winter

regains innocence 

'innocence' or 'freshness' - I go with 'innocence' 

sundown

sundown ~

the sea reciting poems 

without words

wisps of clouds

wisps of clouds 

in an accustomed sky 

gathering 

the frayed whisper 

of a bygone grief

winter's end ~

a rustle 

in the rose bush
